The successful candidate's responsibilities will include product requirements gathering, design, implementation, testing and integration of:
• Drivers for controlling mobile devices and test instruments (base station emulators, power supplies, etc.).
• Internal engineering applications widely used throughout the company.
Skills and Experience:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum of 4 years software development experience in either C, C++ , Java, or C#
• Thorough understanding of programming fundamentals and OOD principles
• Capability of taking on responsibility for a substantial portion of a project
• Superior problem solving and software debugging skills
• Ability to take initiative and responsibility in a team environment
• Capability of working with multiple teams and multiple external and internal customers to study and analyze product requirements, new feature functionalities and design
• Strong desire to work in a fast-paced, innovative environment
• Independent work ethic to bring task to completion
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
Additional Assets:
• Involvement in projects throughout the complete software lifecycle
• Understanding of multi-threaded event driven systems
• Experience in .NET framework
• Strong technical skills to coach and mentor co-op/interim team members
• Experience in configuration management within software projects
